New CCHS material

CCHS winter uniform 1924

As part of our ongoing “Sharing Heritage” social history project, we are constantly sorting through material relevant to the Grey Friars site, with a view to eventually handing it over to the Essex Record Office fully archived.

Marked “Winter uniform 1924” this photo was in a box of papers saved from the skip when Grey Friars was being sold by Essex County Council. We believe it shows a CCHS Lower School (Grey Friars) pupil and her parents. Any other information, comments, memories or other documents would be most welcome.d, to the Essex Record Office.
