As you will see from the book and this site, the Grey Friars area has a fascinating and complicated history. If we had waited until we were satisfied that we’d covered it all it would be many years before anything was published.

Therefore, we view this as an on-going project and would be delighted to hear from anyone with more knowledge, information, documents, photographs – or indeed any corrections to what we’ve presented or answers to questions we’ve posed. Similarly we’ll do our best to answer any queries.
